WHAT IS A PALEO DIET?

A Paleo diet allows fruits, nuts, veggies, seafood, seeds, and meats and doesn't allow the intake of legumes, grains, dairy, some vegetable oils, which includes soy oil, corn oil, and cottonseed oil. Starchy vegetables, which include tubers, are placed on a gray area as they are eaten by some Paleo diet followers while there are kale, Collard greens, and almonds (you can even substitute almond milk for dairy milk).

The Paleo diet places emphasis on lean meats and non-starchy veggies, which makes it very unique from the other low carb diet plans that generally add a lot of fat and little quantities of veggies and protein.
